This is a very solemn day on which Christ experienced the passion and crucifixion on the Cross. On this day we celebrate three main services: the Royal Hours, the Vespers with the removal of Christ from the Cross and wrapping of the body of Christ and the Veneration of the Epitaphios with an outside procession. The focus of this day is on the passion of Christ, death and burial of our Lord Jesus Christ. The daily services are as follows:
