		ICON PAINTING SEMINAR with M. Jaahnvi



		An element of the spiritual path within the Bhakti Marga Community is the painting of spiritual pictures, icons and also pictures of saints. The icon painting technique used until now in our Atelier is based on traditional methods, although they also reflect new aspects especially through the use of colours.  Thus, we are also breaking new ground in icon painting.



		


			 



			Painting is a kind of meditation: one can go into the silence and calm the mind in the process.



			Anyone can learn these techniques and they provide a wonderful opportunity for creative expression.



			This painting seminar is designed so that one can learn the techniques and then have the possibility to practice them further.



			We offer comprehensive training in drawing techniques, in the use of colours and in painting with gouache/tempera colours. We work with the use of templates.



			Artistic ability is not essential, just willingness, love of painting and a little patience with oneself.
