Dharmananda

„...I remember at my first Darshan with Swami Vishwananda in 2003, the moment before Swami came in, one of the musicians stood up and asked on the microphone if there was anyone in the audience who could play the harmonium, and could join the musicians for that evening.... I raised my hand, and since that moment I have been involved in music around Guruji....“
As the main coordinator of „Bhakti Sounds“ worldwide, Dharmananda is responsible for all musical aspects inside of Bhakti Marga He is a professional French-Horn player in the „Beethovenorchester Bonn“, and a member of the Woodwind-Ensemble „Ma´alot Quintett“ for more than 25 years, giving concerts and masterclasses around the world.
In march 2011 Swami Vishwananda initiated him as an Atma Kriya teacher.

Chaturananda

Chaturananda's journey to bliss began when he heard his first bhajan more than 14 years ago as he once told a group of his friends.
Soon after he got his first harmonium, which marked the beginning of the new era of his life. Lacking formal musical education was no impediment, whatsoever, to his desire to learn to play and sing. Determined to cross over this deficiency he used every opportunity to educate himself, both in singing and playing music by availing himself of lessons.
What was lacking in one side was abundant in the other as people started to enjoy singing with him and he was asked to start leading kirtan nights and occasionally concerts with up to 300 people.
Even the very first meeting with his guru began with bhajans. That, also, marked the new phase in his life. Sri Swami Vishwananda brought hundreds of beautiful and deeply inspiring bhajans that took fertile soil in Chaturananda's heart and soul which only added more fuel to his passion. Singing, for him, was not just passing time in pleasure for the sake of singing. It was a divine call – the surge of divine power enticing him to awaken the hidden God: the God of joy, the God of love, the God of bliss! And to share that joy, love, and bliss started to become Chaturananda's innermost calling.
Music and singing has always been his passion and having been encouraged by his guru, Sri Swami Vishwananda, he has started to go out and give concerts and kirtans and workshops. His major ventures were the Rainbow Music and Spirit Festivals, and the Bhakti Yoga Summer Festival.
Chaturananda has been the member of Bhakti Sounds ever since its inception.
