Bhakti Marga a Way of Life

Bhakti Marga is Sanskrit and means path (marga) of devotion (bhakti). It is a way of life, a path to the Heart and connection to the inner Self and Divine Love.

When there is spiritual awakening within the soul, a deep desire for inner change surfaces, that “calling” can be overwhelming and seem intangible. The path of devotion offers a direct way to answer the “calling”.

Bhakti opens up many doors to the Divine and each person is free to explore various avenues to fulfil their personal expression of devotion. Immersing the self in Bhakti awakens Divine Love and unconditional acceptance of oneself and pure love flows to others. As this Divine Love arises within, so does the self-confidence to apply it in everyday life.

Surrender through sincere devotion allows one`s own life to flow naturally. It releases and dissolves one`s habitual patterns, giving way to joy and a positive new life attitude. A whole new dimension of existence opens up for oneself. Divine love envelops every aspect of living bringing positive change into one`s life and the surrounding environment.

Spiritual Master Sri Swami Vishwananda is the personification of Bhakti. He is a living embodiment of love and his loving presence is an example of the integration of this path into everyday living. Swami Vishwananda “lives” Bhakti from his home at Shree Peetha Nilaya, his International Center in the beautiful German countryside in the Taunus region, just outside the small village of Springen. A place where people can receive divine inspiration on their path through the proximity to God in nature. The Center has a resident community that has also chosen the path of Bhakti as its way of life. This group of people together with others from all over the world on the same path of devotion, use the name Bhakti Marga to reflect their path. That wider community supports Swami in his mission to spread Bhakti to humanity.
