New Tent for Outdoor Events erected at Shree Peetha Nilaya

In the coming months, several festivals and ceremonies in the Vaisnava Hindu Calendar will be taking place (Krishna Janmashtami, Navaratri, etc.). Naturally we are not yet able to host any such event within our buildings so instead we decided to buy a used tent! This way we can once again host these ceremonies within our own premises, although we must stress that this does not mean that guests may stay at Shree Peetha Nilaya overnight. We kindly ask for your understanding given the current 'status' of the Center.

Last Saturday morning, a professional tent builder came to us and the tent was fully built under his guidance. Most of the men in the Center along with the existing construction team worked together all morning to complete this task and it turned out to be a great experience and exercise for all involved!

As you can see the finished product looks very good! We will still do some work inside to make it more adequate for hosting big events and apply the finishing touches in the coming weeks. We will also install a hot-air heating system given that by October it may already be quite cold here in Germany!
