New Temple News Update

Recently the ongoing works in the new temple, or the old swimming pool to be more precise at this moment, have progressed greatly and the steps that were mentioned in this previous news report http://centerspringen.org/new-temple-update have begun to take place as one can see here:

As was mentioned in the previous report, these new layers of cement and iron being applied are done so as to solidify the base structure of what will eventually be the temple floor and at the same time safeguard the huge deposit of hot water stored underneath these layers as part of our new extensive heating system. As we can see below, we had some external professionals come and help with the work as well as our own construction team and seva helpers work tirelessly to mix the cement and apply the next layers swiftly before the cement was allowed to dry off and deteriorate in quality. It is of course vital that there are no holes or cracks in the layers as this could lead to cement and other substances leaking through to the water stored below and contaminate it, thus our work here was meticulous to say the least.

So as you can see we are getting ever closer to creating a new home for our wonderful deities and at the same time help the Center a lot with the provision of hot water and general heating! We will of course keep you updated on this situation as we progress through it.
