Area 1- Vegetable Garden

As you know, since last year we are putting a lot of effort in creating our own vergetable gardens. The soil here is not very good, a lot of stones and no worms... For that reason we removed a lot of the stones and mixed the earth with different kind of compost.

The result is remarkable:

We also built a tomato greenhouse due to the sometimes rough climate in the Taunus region.

                                               Now the tomatoes have grown

In the last weeks we got a lot of Zuccinis and Mangold to eat. Of course there are also different kinds of salads, beans, herbs, fennel, and for autum different kinds of cabbage.

During the hot dry season you could find Thinalirama very early in the morning and late at night watering the little plants.

It is really a pleasure to come to the garden and see this and feel the caring energy which the garden team has put in this project.
